Cardboard Relief Sculpture
I chose PNC Park as the landscape to recreate for a relief sculpture. I used an additive technique of cutting out pieces of cardboard using an exacto knife and stacking them on top of each other with hot glue to achieve the illusion of depth and create the background, middle ground, and foreground. I used the ribbed part of the cardboard to suggest the image of bleachers. I then went back in with the hot glue to add the smaller details, such as the clouds and windows in the background.
